Food industry is among the most demanding areas, floors wise, because of high loads in combination with very high standards of hygiene. There are very different requirements in different parts of the food industry, such as the bakeries and fish industry. Mechanical load varies, just like the thermal stress and chemical load and must be specified before specyfiing a solution. Common to all is the importance of a bright and pleasant working environment, that in all wet areas should be provided for slip resistance. Floors must also be easy to clean so that the risk of growth of bacteria is minimal.
