Parking decks

In parking garages there are especially large mechanical loads due to traffic, in particular where studded tires are widely used . A lot of water is transported to the deck by cars , also in combination with road salt . It is essential that the coating seals the concrete structure  to avoid reinforcement corrosion and to prevent  saline water from dripping onto cars on the floor below .

In a parking garage with existing cracks one must choose a coating system with carckbridging abilities. A new parking garages should be designed to avoid cracks.
